5 Video Creation Styles Offered by Digital Brew

At Digital Brew, we offer a wide range of video creation services because each video is custom tailored for your brand. We’ve talked before about our entire process and how we create custom artwork for your company and your video. We never want to make the same video twice. It’s no fun for us and it’s certainly no help for you to receive a video made out of recycled parts and artwork. So this week, we wanted to show five examples of the types of videos we can make. This isn’t all encompassing. Like the title says, it’s just a taste of what Digital Brew can make for you.

2D Video Creation Services

For this style, we’re going to look at our HubSpot CMS Hub Starter Animated Explainer Video. This is a perfect example of one of our 2D, non-character animated videos. It’s fully animated and created from scratch but it doesn’t have moving characters. You will notice though that there are people in but it’s just busts of characters. We can absolutely do something like that in our standard 2D videos.

2D with Character Video Creation Services

Now, let’s take a 2D video and kick it up a notch with moving characters. This is our award winning animated explainer video for The Exit Group. You’ll see here how we have fully animated characters that are interacting with each other. But what if you wanted to take it even further and have your characters speak? Well, that’s something we can also do! It’s just not in this particular video.

Mixed Media Video Creation Services

This style is one of the video creation services we’ve gotten requests for a lot recently. We refer to it as “mixed media” and it combines still photography with animation and motion graphics. It’s a perfect solution for when you’re looking for something a little less “cartoony.” That’s something we’ve heard more than a few times so this style is an effective way to do an animated explainer video that doesn’t evoke that word. And like any other style, we can offer it in a range of different styles. So check out the mixed media explainer video we made for Lightcast.

3D Video Creation Services

Moving on to another one of the video creation services that we offer: 3D! For this one, we’re taking a look at an EMMY WINNING (!!) video made by Doug Jarman. This video is an animated explainer video for Satcom Direct. A lot of our videos utilize voiceover but for this one, we thought it would be more powerful without it. This is the only 3D video we’re looking at today but you can check more out here. As you’ll see there, just like 2D, 3D videos can come in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and styles. We can even do them with characters!

Live Action with VFX Video Creation Services

And of course, we offer live action videos! Whether you have your own footage, want us to use stock footage, or come out to your offices and shoot our own footage, we can craft all kinds of live action videos and advertisements for you. Now, the particular video we’re showing for this one also contains VFX. That’s another video creation service we offer.
